When you place an order you are making an offer to buy from the restaurant. The restaurant can accept or decline it, and may pause ordering when its kitchen is busy. Ready times are the restaurant’s estimates.
Paying at pickup
Unless you choose to pay by card, you pay the restaurant directly when you collect, and sales tax is added at the counter. No money passes through Restaurant Pro.
Paying by card
Where a restaurant has set up card payments, you can pay for a pickup order online. The payment is made to the restaurant through its own Stripe account: the restaurant is the seller, its name appears on your statement, and Stripe calculates the sales tax. You enter your card in Stripe’s payment form; card details are never sent to our servers. The order is not sent to the kitchen until the payment succeeds; if you leave checkout before paying, the unpaid order is cancelled and nothing is charged.
Delivery
Where a restaurant offers delivery, it is made by the restaurant’s own drivers or by a courier booked for your order (DoorDash Drive or Uber Direct). The delivery fee you see at checkout is passed on at cost, with no markup, and the restaurant may choose to pay part or all of it. Courier deliveries are paid online by card.
Offers and credit
Offers are set by restaurants, and one offer applies per order. Referral credit can be used on eligible orders and is returned if the order is cancelled or declined. [CREDIT TERMS — expiry, no cash value, transferability]
Alcohol is not sold through online ordering.
